Around 6 or 7 years ago, my friend Tony - who is on dA over here - and I were desperately HATING Christmas eve. We sent each other pissed off Christmas Pictures and we spoke about the following.
Christmas eve is merely an extension of Christmas, therefore a shitty reason to celebrate. Christmas should be celebrated ON ITS OWN TIME, not expand into the surrounding days like some sort of bleedy whatever!

It was then that we had an idea. We should start a holiday. A holiday which brings joy to us, by celebrating something that influenced our lives, and made us a little weirder, a little nerdier and a whole lot happier.

We decided that this day should henceforth be known as Bubble Bobble day.
Dust off your old NES today, blow the dust out of the cartridge. Play. Laugh. Smile. Draw Bub and Bob! Draw bubbles! Hum the theme!
